Treyvon Williams is a standout linebacker prospect from Miami Norland High and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Treyvon Williams helped lead Miami Norland to a state championship last season while playing as a part of a stingy defense. Williams has now helped the Vikings to a 7-2 start this season.

Williams, 6-feet and 220 pounds, currently has 68 tackles, 1.5 sacks, one caused fumble, and one blocked kick.

Williams landed some early Division 1 scholarship offers and says he's still being actively recruited by three schools.

"It's FAU, Youngstown State, and recently Hawaii," he said.

Williams talked a little about each of those three schools.

"FAU is close to home and they treat me like family," he said. "They have an up and coming program. YSU has pretty cool coaches and a really good program. Hawaii, of course, has a good environment."

The talented linebacker prospect talked about what he'll be looking for when choosing a school.

"Location and the defense I would fit in the best with," he said.
